[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The tracklist for BTS member RM's first solo album has been revealed.
On the 25th, RM posted an image listing the songs included in his solo album 'Indigo' on his official SNS.
The new album consists of a total of 10 tracks, including the title track "Deulgonnori (with Jo Yujin)," "Yun (with Erykah Badu)," "Still Life (with Anderson .Paak)," "All Day (with Tablo)," "Geonmangjeung (with Kim Sawol)," "Closer (with Paul Blanco, Mahalia)," "Change pt.2," "Lonely," "Hectic (with Colde)," and "No.2 (with Park Jiyoon)."
The title track "Deulgonnori (with Jo Yujin)" expresses RM's wish to live like a calm wildflower rather than a flashy but quickly fading firework. Jo Yujin, the vocalist of Cherry Filter, features on the track, and DOCSKIM participated as the producer, enhancing the song's charm.
Not only Jo Yujin but also artists with different charms participated as featured artists, raising the album's completeness. Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Tablo of Epik High, singer-songwriter Kim Sawol, British singer-songwriter Mahalia, R&B hip-hop musician Paul Blanco, singer-songwriter Colde, and singer-songwriter Park Jiyoon collaborated with RM on this album.
The impressive lineup of producers also draws attention. Along with DOCSKIM, Pdogg, HONNE, eAeon, and John Eun participated. Pdogg produced "All Day (with Tablo)," "Lonely," and "Hectic (with Colde)." The British electronic duo HONNE, who previously worked with RM on the mixtape track "seoul (Prod. HONNE)," produced "Closer (with Paul Blanco, Mahalia)." eAeon produced "Change pt.2," and John Eun participated as producer on "Geonmangjeung (with Kim Sawol)" and "No.2 (with Park Jiyoon)."
RM led the entire album production, including writing and composing all tracks on 'Indigo.' Beyond collaborations with various musicians, he also achieved cross-boundary collaboration between music and art. Through the previously released 'Indigo' photos, one can see the natural and attractive harmony between RM and the late artist Yoon Hyungkeun’s work "Blue."
As RM has conveyed his stories candidly through his personal works so far, 'Indigo' contains honest emotions, concerns, and various reflections. 'Indigo,' which embodies traces of RM's life and thoughts, will be released on December 2.
