[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] On the 24th, Daesung Energy held a 'Love Kimchi Sharing' event at the headquarters parking lot on Myeongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu, in celebration of the City Gas Industry Service Day, together with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Daegu Regional Headquarters and the Volunteer Capacity Development Institute.
This year marked the 14th annual kimchi-making event, attended by about 60 people including Daesung Energy executives and employees, newly participating staff from the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Daegu Regional Headquarters, and volunteers from the Volunteer Capacity Development Institute.
The kimchi made that day was packed into about 800 containers and delivered with the hope that residents of small rooms and neighbors in need would have a warm winter.
Yoon Hong-sik, CEO of Daesung Energy, said, "I hope the residents of the small rooms enjoy the kimchi made at the kimchi-sharing event and stay healthy throughout this winter," adding, "Daesung Energy will continue to practice social responsibility management through sharing activities for vulnerable groups in the community."
