"Advancing Gender Equality Culture" ... Dongmyung University Human Rights Center Signs MOU with Busan Women and Family Development Institute

Officials from Dongmyung University Human Rights Center and Busan Women and Family Development Institute are signing a business agreement.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Human Rights Center of Dongmyung University and the Busan Women and Family Development Institute signed a business agreement on the 23rd at the conference room of the Busan Women and Family Development Institute.

The agreement aims to improve women's human rights, support education related to women's human rights, and foster a culture of respect for human rights. The two organizations will activate cooperation in ▲research proposing policies to enhance women's human rights and gender equality culture in the Busan area ▲gender equality and human rights education ▲consultation and investigation related to sexual harassment, sexual violence, and human rights violations.

Attending the signing ceremony were Dongmyung University Human Rights Center Director Lee Kang-hyuk, Team Leader Kim Yong-su, Professor Jang Yoo-jin, and Busan Women and Family Development Institute Director Oh Kyung-eun, Policy Planning Director Ha Jeong-hwa, Management Innovation Director Lee Yoon-ja, and Senior Researcher Seok Seung-hee.

Director Lee Kang-hyuk said, “I hope that the foundation for establishing a gender-equal culture will be laid so that members can care for and respect each other more deeply.”

Director Oh Kyung-eun said, “We will actively support the strengthening of gender-sensitive perspectives at the university, and through joint research and project promotion, we will build a cooperative system to create a gender-equal culture and human rights improvement that citizens can empathize with.”
