[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Sohn Kyung-shik, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation, held a press conference on the 24th at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul, announcing the position of the six economic organizations to overcome the economic crisis.

The six economic organizations stated regarding the Cargo Solidarity's refusal to transport strike, "We urge the immediate withdrawal of the refusal to transport (general strike) and call for win-win cooperation among truck owners, transport companies, and cargo owners."

The Cargo Solidarity launched a general strike starting on the 24th, demanding the continuation and expansion of the "Safe Freight Rate System," which is scheduled to expire at the end of this year.
