[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] NSN announced on the 24th that it is developing ‘Mission Impossible T’ in collaboration with its affiliate KST Mobility and blockchain IT company HDLABS.
‘Mission Impossible T’ is the first blockchain-based mobility platform developed in Korea. When customers use Makgeolli Taxi, they receive tokens, and if they complete specific missions during their ride, they get a 10% discount on the taxi fare. Additionally, drivers will be awarded tokens based on their service evaluation scores, which can later be used at affiliated locations such as charging stations and parking lots.
NSN plans to actively collaborate with HDLABS, a company specializing in blockchain-based platform development including metaverse and NFTs, and KST Mobility, which operates the Makgeolli Taxi platform, to develop ‘Mission Impossible T’.
In particular, HDLABS possesses the technology and know-how related to blockchain-based platform development. Recently, it successfully launched the M2E (Move to Earn) platform ‘Stepwatch’ and secured 1.6 million global users. Furthermore, it is gaining attention as it prepares to launch the P2E (Play to Earn) platform ‘3KM’.
A company representative explained, “Although there are various platforms in the domestic mobility market, there is currently no mobility platform developed based on blockchain. NSN and KST Mobility will actively collaborate with HDLABS, which has specialized technology and know-how related to blockchain, to contribute to improving drivers’ treatment and taxi services.”
