Alexander McQueen announced on the 24th the launch of the Slash Bag campaign.


Directed by Glen Luchford, the campaign stars model Kaia Gerber and explores human emotions against a futuristic backdrop, expressing the coexistence of humanity and technology.


The Slash Bag, newly introduced in the 2023 Spring/Summer Women's Pre-Collection, incorporates various McQueen signature elements such as iconic knuckle hardware and skull motifs.


The spirit and style of London street culture remain an eternal source of inspiration for Alexander McQueen.


The Slash Bag, made of soft leather with sleek cut details, features a design inspired by the house’s distinctive slice and slash tailoring that captures attention. The knuckles, borrowing aesthetic elements from the 'Knuckleduster,' embody an urban toughness combined with the elegant beauty of jewelry. The skull motifs in antique silver and gold metal symbolize both punk style and the Victorian-era memento mori spirit, while the hand-carved Gothic-style flora and fauna decorations adorned with crystals create a strong contrast with the surrounding flowers.

Available in four colors including black, red, and ivory, the Slash Bag campaign can be viewed on the official Alexander McQueen YouTube channel and the bags are available at Alexander McQueen boutiques and online boutiques.
