[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Artificial intelligence (AI) medical company JLK announced on the 24th that it will participate in the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2022), the world's largest radiology conference, to showcase its stroke solution ‘Medihub Stroke’.
RSNA 2022 will be held in Chicago, USA, from the 27th of this month to the 1st of next month (local time). Unlike previous events that were conducted in a hybrid format due to COVID-19, it is expected to be held on a larger scale with approximately 650 domestic and international companies participating, gathering stakeholders from various fields.
JLK explained that previously, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) solutions had to be viewed on separate screens, but now these images and AI results can be displayed on a single screen, enhancing user convenience. They also added that the AI interpretation results are provided both qualitatively and quantitatively, making it a customized product suitable for stroke care, which requires the use of diverse brain imaging information.
Medihub Stroke not only serves as a stroke solution but also supports integration with the brain aneurysm solution ‘JBA-01K’, enabling comprehensive analysis by linking the detection results of patients’ brain aneurysms, which can lead to cerebral hemorrhage if ruptured, with the cerebral hemorrhage solution.
Ryu Wi-seon, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of JLK, said, “We will advance our technology and business capabilities so that Medihub Stroke can provide fast and accurate information for stroke diagnosis and decision-making systems in clinical settings. We aim to contribute to stroke care and clinical research by quickly extracting information from medical images and providing it quantitatively.”
