CTK At 'Cosmoprof Asia' Attracts Global Members

[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Cosmetics platform company CTK participated in Asia's representative beauty exhibition '2022 Cosmoprof Asia' to attract global customers.

CTK took part in the 2022 Cosmoprof Asia held in Singapore from the 16th to the 18th under the theme "Beauty Creation Made at Your Fingertips." Through the B2B beauty platform 'CTKCLIP,' they introduced directions for cosmetics development that enable quick and easy new product development.

CTK installed tablet PCs throughout the exhibition hall to allow visitors to directly experience the CLIP platform and arranged for professional consultations with staff. Over the three days, more than 450 visitors attended, and among them, 252 were successfully recruited as members of the CTK 'CLIP' platform.

There was also significant interest in the demo version of the small-quantity production request service 'MOQ 1000,' scheduled to open early next year within the CTK CLIP platform. MOQ 1000 is a service designed to allow immediate production requests by selecting and comparing formulas and packaged products that can be produced in small quantities of around 1,000 units.

Choi Chi-ho, Vice President of CTK, stated, "I was grateful to see lines of visitors from Europe, the United States, Asia, Russia, and other countries waiting for consultations to learn more after experiencing the CTK CLIP platform at the booth. It confirmed that our strategy to transition to a digital platform was the right one."

At this exhibition, new concept eco-friendly packages unveiled by the Package Innovation Lab, which researches innovative packaging at CTK, also attracted visitors' attention. In particular, the eco-friendly cream container made by thermoforming thin plastic sheets instead of the conventional thick plastic injection method was so popular that purchase orders were placed on-site. The eco-friendly cream container, thin and lightweight yet durable, significantly reduces plastic usage and is designed to be more environmentally friendly by using recyclable PP material.

Additionally, various eco-friendly packages patented by CTK, such as the bottom-up stick that pushes up the contents to prevent residue inside sticks when using lipsticks and multi-balms, drew considerable interest.

Meanwhile, at the 'Cosmotalk' public conference hosted by the exhibition, Vice President Choi Chi-ho participated as a speaker to introduce the innovations and eco-friendly solutions of CTK CLIP.
