CJ CheilJedang Bibigo Collaborates with Fusion Korean Restaurant Hojokban... "Introducing a New Concept Dumpling"

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ CheilJedang’s ‘Bibigo’ announced on the 24th that it has launched two new products, ‘NY Yangnyeom Galbi Dumplings’ and ‘Truffle Potato Jeon Dumplings,’ in collaboration with Hojokban.

This product draws attention as it presents a new concept of dumplings that did not exist in the existing market, resulting from the collaboration between Bibigo, which has changed the paradigm of food culture, and Hojokban, which showcases distinctive Korean cuisine. Hojokban is a restaurant operated by GFFG, which owns popular dining brands among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) such as ‘Noted’ and ‘Downtowner.’

‘Bibigo NY Yangnyeom Galbi Dumplings’ are inspired by Hojokban’s signature menu, NY Yangnyeom Galbi. The dumplings are made larger than the existing large mandu, filled with galbi meat that combines sweet and savory flavors, and scallions with a tangy seasoning. ‘Bibigo Truffle Potato Jeon Dumplings’ use Hojokban’s well-known truffle potato jeon as the filling. The soft potatoes and rich truffle aroma create a unique taste experience.

Additionally, the packaging design has been differentiated. Unlike existing Bibigo dumplings, the packaging features Hojokban’s tiger character to give a distinctive feel. Both products are available for purchase at CJ The Market, various online malls, and E-Mart.
