Emart24 Introduces Visa Contactless Easy Payment System... Also Hosting Prize Giveaway Event

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart24 announced on the 24th that it will introduce a simple payment system using Visa Contactless.

Visa Contactless payment is a convenient payment method where the payment is completed simply by holding the card near the terminal without swiping or inserting the card when purchasing products.

To commemorate the introduction of this payment system, discount and prize giveaway events will be held. Until the 18th of next month, customers who pay 10,000 KRW or more using Visa Contactless at all stores will receive a 2,000 KRW discount. Overlapping discounts are also possible through Emart24’s affiliated telecommunications companies.

Customers who scan the Emart24 mobile app integrated barcode and pay with Visa Contactless will be entered into a draw to win one of 29 ‘2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup Party Boxes.’ The party box includes prizes worth approximately 1.5 million KRW, such as Microsoft’s Xbox game pack, the official ball of the Qatar World Cup, hats, and more.
