Sancheong-gun Holds Strategy Meeting to Promote Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo

Report on the Progress of Attracting Domestic and International Institutions and Companies, and Tourists

Lee Seunghwa, Governor of Sancheong County, Gyeongnam, is holding a progress report meeting on the Sancheong Expo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Organizing Committee of the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo held a promotion strategy briefing session on the 22nd at the multipurpose room of the Donguibogam Village Theme Hall, chaired by Co-Chairman Lee Seunghwa, the county governor.

On this day, 15 attendees including Governor Lee, Secretary-General Park Jeong-jun, headquarters directors, and department heads participated to report on the progress of the Expo organizing committee operations, online and offline promotions, venue layout and management, exhibition production, events and programs, attraction of domestic and international institutions and companies, and tourism promotion, followed by departmental discussions on future plans.

Co-Chairman Governor Lee stated, “The organizing committee and Sancheong County will hold monthly briefing sessions to discuss and promote administrative, budgetary, and personnel support projects for the Expo,” adding, “We will diligently prepare so that Sancheong can secure leadership in the traditional medicine market and leap forward as a global healing tourism hub through the Expo.”

The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo, themed “Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World,” is a government-approved international event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Gyeongnam Province, and Sancheong County. It will be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19, 2023, throughout the Donguibogam Village area in Sancheong.
