[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Lee Jun-hyung] Korea Electrical Safety Corporation was selected as the 'Best Institution' by the Board of Audit and Inspection this year.
On the 23rd, the Electrical Safety Corporation announced that it received the highest grade, A, in the '2022 Self-Audit Activity Evaluation' conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection and was selected as the best institution. The self-audit activity evaluation is an annual assessment conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection targeting 669 organizations, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. The Board of Audit and Inspection announces the evaluation results for the following year based on the previous year's audit performance.
The evaluation areas include audit infrastructure, activity content, post-management, and others. The Electrical Safety Corporation received high marks through multifaceted preventive audit activities, continuous efforts to improve audit quality, operation of an internal public interest reporting system, and activation of an active administration exemption system.
