[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] To mark Ulsan Job Week this year, a ‘Job Fair and Employment Concert’ will be held to revitalize employment and start-ups among local youth.
Ulsan City announced that it will designate the three days from the 23rd to the 25th as ‘2022 Ulsan Job Week’ and hold the ‘2022 Ulsan Job Fair’ and ‘Ulsan Dreaming Youth Job (JOB) Concert.’
The ‘2022 Ulsan Job Fair’ will be co-hosted by Ulsan City, the Ulsan branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ulsan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and district and county offices at Munsu Gymnasium on the 23rd.
This event will feature participation from over 60 local companies, including shipbuilding, manufacturing, food industry, and service sectors, providing attendees with direct hiring opportunities.
One-on-one on-site interviews and recruitment consultations between companies and job seekers will take place, along with the provision of employment information.
At 3 p.m. on the 23rd, at the special stage in Munsu Gymnasium, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs An Hyodae, City Council Chairman Kim Kihwan, and others will attend to deliver employment encouragement messages and present success stories of employed youth to support young people’s employment success.
Additionally, various booths for job seekers will be operated, including ▲Emotional Oil Healing Therapy diagnosis and psychological counseling ▲ID photo shooting ▲Color personality analysis and interview counseling ▲Job application consultation booths.

The ‘Ulsan Dreaming Youth Job (JOB) Concert,’ hosted by Gyeongsang Ilbo, will be held for three days from the 23rd to the 25th at Ulsan Science College West Campus.
Main events include ▲On the 23rd, mentoring and counseling for university student start-ups and a congratulatory performance by ‘Coffee Boy’ ▲On the 24th, a preliminary start-up competition and a talk concert with Kim Sukjin, CJ CheilJedang management leader, and Choi Taeseong, historian ▲On the 25th, a youth policy idea presentation contest and a talk concert with Lee Imbok, CEO of Second Brain Research Institute, and Jung Myungji, head of investment information at Samsung Securities.
During the event, there will be a university student start-up exhibition, a flea market for young entrepreneurs, and employment and start-up consultation booths, providing various attractions and employment/start-up information.
A city official said, “We have prepared various events to provide more job information to citizens during this Job Week and to support the employment success of youth, who are the future of Ulsan. We hope many job seekers, including young people, will take an interest and participate to achieve employment success.”
