[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart Everyday announced on the 22nd that it will cooperate with the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency to offer a 30% discount on all general rice products produced in Gyeonggi-do until next month.

In this event, customers can purchase general rice produced in various regions of Gyeonggi-do, including Icheon, Yeoju, Yangju, Pocheon, Paju, Gimpo, and Yongin, at discounted prices.

By downloading a coupon once daily from the Emart Everyday mobile application (app) and presenting it when purchasing rice at stores located in Gyeonggi-do on the day of issuance, customers can receive a discount of up to 60,000 KRW. There are no restrictions on the total number of purchases or purchase amount.

An Emart Everyday representative said, "We planned this event to help alleviate the increasing burden of consumer grocery prices, even if only slightly," and added, "We ask for much interest in this meaningful event that can also contribute to resolving the concerns of farmers due to the decrease in rice consumption."
