‘Rich Rich Festival’ Historic Success Thanks to County Residents and Citizens
“Creating ‘Dream and Hope Uiryeong’ of Revival, Not Extinction, Through a Wealth Festival”
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] It is a human duty to always express gratitude when receiving help. The world has become so harsh that you hear things like "Saved a drowning person, and they demand my belongings" or "Transported an intoxicated woman to the hospital, only to be accused of sexual harassment."
In contrast, O Tae-wan, the governor of Uiryeong County, Gyeongnam, and Ha Man-hong, chairman of the Rich Festival, were different. On the 21st, Governor O and Chairman Ha sent brief but sincere “letters of thanks” to various media outlets, expressing their gratitude to the citizens and various stakeholders across the country who helped with the “Rich Rich Festival.”
Governor O and Chairman Ha said, “The ‘2022 Uiryeong Rich Festival,’ held from the 28th to the 30th of last month, showcased the dynamic spirit of Uiryeong with the unique theme of wealthy energy found nowhere else in the world.” They expressed their thanks, saying, “This was made possible by the united cooperation and dedication of volunteers who silently devoted themselves in their roles and the citizens who participated and supported in various ways during the festival.”
Governor O stated, “Although our population is small, if we unite with the citizens, we can accomplish anything,” expressing confidence that “this hope will become the flame that revives Uiryeong.”
He added, “Taking this festival as an opportunity, we will promote Uiryeong, a hometown of loyalty and national service as well as business patriotism, not only domestically but worldwide, and transform it into a Uiryeong full of dreams and hope, escaping the threat of extinction.”
