This campaign, jointly conducted by the UNICEF Korea Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, is being carried out in a relay format through social media and the press under the slogan "Stopping violence starts with our attention."
President Kim joined the campaign on the 16th after being nominated by Kim Young-hwan, director of the National Busan Science Museum, and he nominated Jeong Young-woo, president of Busan Women's University, and Jeong Yong-hwan, chairman of the Busan Autonomous Police Committee, as the next campaign leaders.
President Kim Young-do said, "I hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to increase national interest and participation in child protection so that children and adolescents, who will lead the future, can grow up without suffering from abuse or other harm."
