Dongwoon Anatech Selected as a World-Class Product

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Dongwoon Anatech announced on the 21st that it received a certification for its OIS product at the '2022 World-Class Product' event held by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) on the 18th.

The 'World-Class Product Certification' is a system granted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to products and companies with a high potential to rank within the top 5 in global market share in the future. Selected companies receive various support benefits, including market access, financial funding, and consulting.

Dongwoon Anatech is the only company in Korea that manufactures OIS driver ICs. It was selected as a world-class product item in recognition of its advancements in resolution, accuracy, and computational capability.

A Dongwoon Anatech official stated, "Recently, smartphone products have been expanding the application of OIS functions, which were previously applied only to flagship models, to mid- to low-priced products as well," adding, "We will apply OIS products to various smartphones worldwide, enhance competitiveness, and increase sales."
