Gwangju Nam-gu, 'Youth Entrepreneurship' Relay Special Lectures on 23rd-24th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is conducting a youth startup relay special lecture to strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of young people and help them successfully enter society through startups.

According to Nam-gu on the 21st, the youth startup special lecture will be held over two days on the 23rd and 24th at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of Cheongnyeon Warak.

Any young person aged 19 to 45 who is interested in startups can participate.

First, on the 23rd, Kim Byung-hye, the chief mentor of the K-ICT Mentoring Center, will meet with young people.

On that day, he plans to deliver know-how on startup basics and how to write a business plan, including studying the market thoroughly before starting a business and explaining how to write a business plan that can pass to receive government support.

In particular, he will emphasize that the business plan is not about "what you make or have," but "how you present it," and that an attractive and intuitive introductory sentence and the realism of the budget section are very important.

On the 24th, Kim Jeong-hak, director of the Gwangju Dong-gu Startup Support Center, will give a lecture on the theme of "Startup Trends and Idea Generation."

With the advent of an era of growth without employment, traditional methods of job creation have faced limitations, and the lecture's main point is that jobs are created through companies focusing on creative ideas and innovative technologies.

Director Kim Jeong-hak will also emphasize, based on statistics and trend information in the startup field, that the meeting of ideas and technology is the driving force behind rapid growth.

A Nam-gu official stated, "It will be a very valuable time to provide information to local young people preparing for startups," and added, "We look forward to the active participation of young people interested in the startup field."
