Thorough Pre-Site Safety Inspection Conducted According to Local Festival Venue Safety Inspection Manual
Three-Stage Safety Measures by Administration, Organizing Committee, and Security Company for Festival Venue Safety
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yuk Miseok] Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun announced that it has begun pre-event on-site safety inspections to ensure a safe festival ahead of the opening of the "Gurye Sansuyu Wellness Festival."
The Sansuyu Wellness Festival will be held for two days from the 19th to the 20th at the Sansuyu Flower Festival site, featuring an opening performance and experience and event programs themed around the Sansuyu fruit.
On the 17th, Yoo Young-kwang, Deputy Governor of Gurye, visited the festival site to meticulously inspect the preparation status of all areas related to festival safety, including festival facilities, visitor flow, fire, medical, traffic, electricity, and gas, according to the "Local Festival Safety Management Manual," and ordered on-site improvements for any insufficient matters.
On the 18th, a joint safety inspection involving the Festival Promotion Committee, police station, fire station, and other public and private entities will be conducted to preemptively guide and inspect risk factors related to the stage and audience seats, festival site and surrounding facilities, and entrance and exit flow.
Kim Soon-ho, the county governor, said, "To ensure a safe festival, we held a policy discussion meeting with department heads on the 14th and emphasized thorough preparation including pre-inspection of the festival site. On the 16th, we chaired a safety management committee attended by the Gurye Police Chief and Suncheon Fire Chief, urging thorough safety inspections in all areas to prevent any safety accidents."
