SK Ecoplant Waste Solution 'Wavyle', CES 2023 Innovation Award Winner

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] SK Ecoplant announced on the 17th that Wavble Solution won the Innovation Award in the smart city category at 'CES 2023,' the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in early January next year in Las Vegas, USA.

At 'CES 2023' in January next year, SK Ecoplant plans to convey the message that it is already on the Net Zero journey through multifaceted cooperation with several subsidiaries and partners, including Wavble.

Wavble is an advanced digital solution that tracks and manages the entire lifecycle of waste generation, transportation, and disposal. Through this, it converts the previously difficult-to-manage entire lifecycle of waste generation, transportation, and disposal into a digital-based system and data, providing an enterprise-wide waste management (EWP) service.

In particular, SK Ecoplant is advancing functions that analyze the type, volume, weight, and emission patterns of waste by utilizing data analysis and artificial intelligence (AI). Currently, more than 90 companies, including Coupang Fulfillment Service, are using Wavble. The cumulative amount of waste processed so far has reached approximately 10,000 tons.
