Netmarble Wins Two Awards Including Excellence Award and Technical Creativity Award at the Korea Game Awards

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Netmarble announced on the 17th that it won two awards at the '2022 Korea Game Awards': the Excellence Award for 'Merge Kungya Island' and the Technical Creativity Award in the graphics category for 'Seven Knights Revolution.'

'Merge Kungya Island,' which won the Excellence Award, is a mobile casual game in the merge genre utilizing Netmarble's own intellectual property (IP) Kungya, released in June.

With this, Netmarble has continued its record of producing award-winning titles for 10 consecutive years since 2013.

'Seven Knights Revolution,' which won the Technical Creativity Award in the graphics category, is an open-world massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) launched in July, and is a work that maximizes the characteristics of the original 'Seven Knights.'

To celebrate winning two awards this time, Netmarble is holding a reward event for users as a token of gratitude. In 'Merge Kungya Island,' users who log in by the 20th will receive benefits worth a total of 500 gems, including 200 gems and a 'Sprout Lung Basket Box' as login rewards. In 'Seven Knights Revolution,' all users who log in after 6 p.m. on the 17th will receive a '4-star Hero Summon Ticket.'

A Netmarble official said, “We are grateful that projects launched with our own IP have achieved meaningful results,” and added, “We will continue to strive to present games that combine both popularity and high completeness to be recognized by users.”
