[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun will hold a talk event where he meets citizens in the city hall lobby.

On the 17th at 2 p.m., Busan City announced that it will hold the 'Citizen Policy Empathy Talk - Deullaknallak Edition' at the first Deullaknallak location, a children's complex cultural space on the first floor lobby of the city hall.

The children's complex cultural space 'Deullaknallak' is a new type of playground combining advanced technology and culture, targeting kindergarten and elementary school students and their parents. It is a facility that includes various functions such as play, reading, digital experience, and learning.

The 'Deullaknallak' creation project is one of Mayor Park Hyung-jun's major campaign promises, aiming to establish a total of 300 locations throughout Busan by 2030 to realize a 15-minute living zone city. Currently, a total of eight locations, including the first Deullaknallak, are in operation, and 34 locations are under construction. Next year, 41 new locations will be created.

On the day of the event, about 20 invited teams of parents and children will participate, and the program will proceed in the order of ▲ Introduction of Deullaknallak ▲ 'Three-person talk' with Busan city officials and Deullaknallak stakeholders ▲ Live comment Q&A 'This Deullaknallak, That Deullaknallak.' It will also be broadcast live online through Busan City's official YouTube channel 'BusanTube.'

The city plans to actively collect citizens' opinions presented on-site and through YouTube comments and reflect them in the future promotion of the Deullaknallak creation project.

At the talk show, 'Boogi,' Busan City's communication character popular among children, will attend and explain 'Deullaknallak' at the child's eye level. Opinions from children as well as parents about 'Deullaknallak' will be gathered.

Ha Seung-min, Busan City's New Media Officer, said, "As the name of the children's complex cultural space 'Deullaknallak' suggests, we plan to listen to honest citizen opinions so that children and parents can come and go every day," adding, "We will actively expand opportunities for policy participation where citizens can communicate and create together."
