‘Michelin Guide Seoul 2023’ 2-Star ‘Juok’ Chef Shin Chang-ho Unveils 3 Types of Meal Kits

The Bibigo Chef Collection is a product line designed to allow consumers to comfortably enjoy fine Korean dining by renowned chefs at home. Through this product, CJ CheilJedang plans to deliver the value of sincerity that Bibigo pursues by realizing menus imbued with the philosophy and originality of star chefs with the highest taste quality. To this end, the company plans to build a premium product line by releasing Bibigo Chef Collection products that reflect the individuality of chefs in various fields such as home meal replacements (HMR) and meal kits.

The first Bibigo Chef Collection is a premium meal kit developed in collaboration with Chef Changho Shin of 'Joo Ok,' a two-star restaurant in the 'Michelin Guide Seoul 2023.' It includes three products: 'Shrimp Gulrim Dumplings with Seafood Broth,' 'Grilled Pork Neck with Perilla Leaf Sprout Stir-fry with Perilla Seed,' and 'Samcheonpo Pasta.' Joo Ok is a Korean contemporary restaurant famous for dishes that capture the four seasons using fermented sauces and vinegar.

The Shrimp Gulrim Dumplings with Seafood Broth is a dish featuring dumplings made with shrimp meat and various vegetables, enhanced with seafood broth and mushroom garnish for a clean taste, making it ideal as an appetizer. The Grilled Pork Neck with Perilla Leaf Sprout Stir-fry is grilled pork neck prepared with a special sauce containing soy sauce, sugar, and refined sake, accompanied by fragrant perilla leaf sprout stir-fry. The Samcheonpo Pasta, a full meal, is characterized by the harmony of dried seafood sauce and clam broth flavors combined with fresh noodles and the texture of mackerel. It has been a beloved signature dish since the early days of 'Joo Ok.'
