Yeonggwang-gun to Host 'Body Concert · Showman 2' Performances at Arts Center

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 16th that it will hold a series of performances for examinees and youth at the Yeonggwang Arts Center Grand Theater.


The upcoming performances include Ambiguous Dance Company's 'Body Concert,' selected for the 2022 Culture Sharing Project with Culture and Arts Centers nationwide, on the 24th at 7 PM, and 'Showman 2,' featuring the main cast of KBS's 'Gag Concert,' on the 25th at 7 PM.


Ambiguous Dance Company has gained public recognition for its artistry and has been active in various fields after creating a dance sensation through the Korea Tourism Organization's promotional video 'Beom Naeryeonda' with the pop band Dayalchi.


The 'Body Concert' is a work created to share the thrill of transcending the limits of the human body and dance with the audience, consisting of a total of 10 scenes.


Additionally, it will offer youth an emotional experience beyond dance with a variety of familiar music genres ranging from pop, classical, to traditional folk song Arirang.


'Showman 2' features popular comedians Park Seongho, Kim Wonhyo, Kim Jaerong, Jeong Beomgyun, and Lee Jonghun, who will present a stage filled with laughter, magic, singing, and various genres through their unique and talented performances, providing a joyful time and memories for all ages, expected to help relieve the stress accumulated by examinees.


This performance is hosted by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association, organized by Yeonggwang-gun, and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Council.


Admission for 'Body Concert' is free for all seats (only available for on-site reservation), and 'Showman 2' tickets are 3,000 KRW for all seats.


Tickets are limited to two per person and can be reserved online via Ticketlink starting from the 17th or purchased on-site at the Yeonggwang Arts Center information desk.


Seniors aged 65 and over who find it difficult to visit in person can use the phone reservation service provided by the Arts Center.
