The Cheongju Guksa General Industrial Complex has been renamed the "Cheongju Central Valley General Industrial Complex."
The Cheongju Central Valley General Industrial Complex is located in the core area of the International Science Business Belt functional district, where major domestic companies such as the Ochang Science Industrial Complex and Osong Life Science Complex are based, drawing attention as a key industrial complex for advanced industries in the central region.
In particular, it boasts an excellent transportation network connecting the entire country, being adjacent to Gyeongbu Expressway Oksan IC, Jungbu Expressway Ochang IC, Cheongju Expressway Seo-Ochang IC, Cheongju International Airport, and KTX Osong Station, a junction station for the Gyeongbu Honam high-speed railway, allowing travel nationwide within two hours.
As a specialized complex for secondary battery materials, parts, and equipment, it can create synergy through industrial linkage with companies in surrounding industrial complexes such as the Ochang Science Industrial Complex, Ochang 2nd Industrial Complex, and the synchrotron accelerator scheduled to move in by 2028. Additionally, eight nearby universities that enable industry-academia cooperation are located nearby, facilitating the securing of abundant technical talent.
The industrial complex includes convenient living infrastructure such as residential facilities, commercial facilities, support facilities, and neighborhood living facilities.
