G20 Records Highest Number of Electric Vehicles Mobilized
More Than Half of Fast Chargers Supplied
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] SK Signet, an electric vehicle charger manufacturer and seller under SK Group, announced on the 14th that it will officially support electric vehicle chargers at the 2022 'G20 Bali Summit'.
According to SK Signet, the 17th G20 Summit held over two days starting from the 15th in Bali, Indonesia, deployed the largest number of eco-friendly electric vehicles in history.
To support this, a total of 64 fast electric vehicle chargers were installed, of which SK Signet supplied and installed more than half, 37 fast chargers.
SK Signet’s chargers are installed at official charging stations near the summit venue to support charging for VIP vehicles from the 20 major countries.
The products installed this time are special models improved from SK Signet’s existing standard products to suit the local power facility conditions in Bali.
After the summit, the chargers will be relocated and utilized at key locations nationwide across Indonesia.
Meanwhile, SK Signet also installed 200kW electric vehicle chargers at Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul during the ‘2010 5th G20 Seoul Summit’.
