Shinsegae Food Expands Use of Alternative Meat 'Better Meat'... Continuous Launch of Menus and Products Shinsegae Food, 'Better Meat' Devil's Door New Menu.

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Shinsegae Food announced on the 14th that it is releasing menus and products using the alternative meat 'Better Meat' across various business sectors including food manufacturing, bakery, dining out, and catering.


Shinsegae Food is introducing five new menu items starting today at two locations of the craft beer pub 'Devil's Door'?Central City and COEX?featuring Better Meat plant-based luncheon, cold cuts, ground meat, and sausages. The new menu includes tacos, chili con carne nachos, mortadella croquettes, spicy fried pepper luncheon roast, and Schinken cannelloni. These dishes not only allow customers to enjoy the original taste and texture of Better Meat but also pair well with craft beer, wine, and other beverages.


Since the 28th of last month, bakery stores within E-Mart nationwide have started selling the 'Better Meat Cold Cut Toast,' made with Better Meat Bologna cold cut sliced ham. This product is part of the eco-friendly ECO series that embodies the environmental values of alternative meat, featuring generous amounts of healthy ingredients such as Better Meat Bologna cold cuts, potato salad, and eggs. Shinsegae Food is also actively conducting the Better Meat catering participation program 'Better Day' and the concept store 'The Better,' where they offer 'Better Meeting,' a meal and lecture program for companies and organizations.


Shinsegae Food plans to continuously introduce menus and products using Better Meat and expand consumer participation events, including cooking classes, beyond the currently ongoing programs.


A Shinsegae Food representative stated, "There has been steady interest from consumers wanting to experience Better Meat in various ways," adding, "We will continue to carry out diverse activities to make it easier for people to enjoy Better Meat-based menus in their daily lives."
