New CEO Park has been focusing on growing the emerging brand Glad since taking on the role of Glad's general executive in 2017. In particular, she was recognized for leading organizational transformation through pivoting and digital transformation amid the industry-wide crisis caused by COVID-19 over the past three years.
CEO Park holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Kyung Hee University and an MBA from Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Business. She joined Samsung Group in 1996, working at Samsung Card and Samsung Human Resources Development Institute. She later held key positions such as sales planning at Hyundai Card and marketing at ADT Caps. She is credited with imprinting a bold strategy and detailed execution experience onto the brand, successfully establishing Glad as a youthful brand in a short period.
