Based on Mutual Trust... Social and Economic Sharing, etc.
On the 9th, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province signed a business agreement for mutual growth with the local company Muhak.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, signed a business agreement on the 9th with Muhak Co., Ltd. and Agricultural City to promote mutual development through strengthened linkage between agriculture and enterprises.
Attended by Kim Yoon-cheol, Mayor of Hapcheon-gun, Lee Jong-soo, President of Muhak, and Kim Hae-sik, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, the agreement mainly includes ▲ promoting mutual development based on mutual trust among parties for the development of agriculture and rural areas ▲ mutual cooperation to promote the consumption of agricultural and livestock products from Hapcheon-gun ▲ active cooperation for the continuous growth and development of the local company Muhak.
Accordingly, Muhak will initially purchase about 2 tons of Hapcheon rice (Yeonghojinmi), and it is expected to contribute to regional development through the creation of social and economic shared value based on mutual trust in the future.
This achievement is the result of the ‘Hapcheon Rice Consumption Promotion Campaign’ actively supported and promoted by Mayor Kim Yoon-cheol, and is a hopeful outcome following the delivery of Hapcheon rice to Doosan in October.
Muhak, a local company headquartered in Masanhwoin-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, has been steadily conducting rural mutual aid volunteer activities such as supporting agricultural machinery parts, donating filial piety tables to elderly farmers, and improving residential environments. In October this year, it was selected as an ‘Excellent Company in Corporate Reputation among Listed Beverage Companies,’ recognized both for its social sharing activities and its core business field.
Mayor Kim Yoon-cheol of Hapcheon-gun said, “This agreement has become a valuable opportunity to promote stable sales channels and income increase for farmers through strengthened linkage between companies,” and added, “We will seek ways for rural areas and companies to coexist through continuous mutual cooperation.”
