Daegu Regional Tax Office and Yeungjin College staff are holding up a certificate after signing a business agreement.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-seon] The Daegu Regional Tax Office has signed a business agreement with Yeungjin College to support the early settlement and sustainable growth of startup companies.
Through this agreement, both institutions have established a communication channel to provide national tax administration guidance such as free tax consultation, education, and tax support systems for entrepreneurs, as well as to listen to grievances and inconveniences related to taxes.
The Daegu Regional Tax Office will provide tax education and mentoring services based on practical experience to students preparing for startups to establish a correct understanding and importance of taxes. It will also offer useful tax information and tax consulting to support the sustainable growth of related small and medium-sized enterprises through the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, continuously collect tax-related inconveniences and difficulties, and promptly prepare solutions to reflect them in tax administration.
Additionally, various support policies of both institutions will be actively promoted through published booklets and websites.
Choi Jae-young, President of Yeungjin College, said, “Along with our university’s entrepreneurship education for students, if systematic and practical tax education support centered on demand is added through cooperation with the Daegu Regional Tax Office, it is expected to be an opportunity for university entrepreneurship education to grow to the next level.”
Jung Cheol-woo, Commissioner of the Daegu Regional Tax Office, also said, “I hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity for both institutions to make greater efforts to revitalize the regional economy and the livelihood economy,” adding, “The Daegu Regional Tax Office will continue various efforts in cooperation with the local community to foster a culture of sincere tax payment.”
