Ulsan Green Environment Support Center Conducts 'This Year's Environmental Measurement and Analysis Equipment Practical Training'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City, under the supervision of the Ulsan Green Environment Support Center, will conduct the "2022 Environmental Measurement and Analysis Equipment Practical Training" from the 21st to the 24th at the Western Campus of Ulsan Science University to strengthen the employment capabilities of local environmental talents.

The training targets university (graduate) students in the environmental field, job seekers, and measurement company workers within the Ulsan area.

The main training courses include ▲Basic chemical analysis and laboratory safety education ▲Principles of ultraviolet and visible spectroscopy ▲Theory and practice of absorbance spectrophotometry and atomic absorption spectrophotometry.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for about 15 people starting from the 9th, and detailed application methods can be found in the announcements on the Ulsan Green Environment Support Center website.

A city official stated, "This training is meaningful in enhancing environmental measurement and analysis capabilities by sharing practical secrets and conducting hands-on practice using high-performance analytical equipment."

Since the Environmental Testing and Inspection Act was enforced in July 2020, environmental testing and inspection institutions in the field are required to employ at least one environmental measurement analyst per field, increasing the demand for skilled professionals with proficient analytical abilities.
