Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is supplying ‘Dasan Forest Complex 2,’ located in Jingeon District of Dasan New Town, Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province, which boasts a multi-access location including proximity to transit, schools, and parks.
Dasan Forest Complex 2 is being constructed by the Daewoo Construction consortium (Daewoo Construction Co., Ltd., Seoyoung Industrial Development Co., Ltd., Woomi Construction Co., Ltd.) and will consist of 5 buildings ranging from one basement floor to a maximum of 29 floors above ground. It will be a large-scale national and permanent rental housing complex with a total of 928 units, with exclusive areas ranging from 26 to 46 square meters. The units are specially designed for single-person households, small households, and newlyweds. National rental housing is offered at 60-80% of the market price for up to 30 years, while permanent rental housing is available at about 30% of the market rent for up to 50 years.
Looking at the number of units by supply type, the national rental housing includes 484 units with exclusive areas of △33㎡ type 260 units △36㎡ type 112 units △46㎡A type 56 units △46㎡B type 56 units. The permanent rental housing includes 444 units with △26㎡A type 254 units △26㎡B type 116 units △33㎡ type 74 units.
In particular, Dasan Forest Complex 2 is located in Dasan New Town, a rising residential area in Namyangju City, offering a multi-access location including proximity to transit, schools, and parks.
First, Dasan Forest Complex 2 is expected to directly benefit from major transportation developments such as the planned extension of Subway Line 8, the planned GTX-B line, and the planned extension of Subway Line 9. It is located about 900 meters from the soon-to-open Dasan Station, securing a transit-oriented location.
Especially, the planned extension of Line 8 will extend from Amsa Station through Guri Station and the planned Dasan Station to Byeollae Station on the Gyeongchun Line. Once opened, it is expected to allow access to Jamsil within about 30 minutes, greatly improving accessibility to Seoul and the metropolitan area. Additionally, existing transportation infrastructure such as the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway, Northern Arterial Road, Olympic-daero, and Gangbyeonbuk-ro, along with the GTX-B line and Line 9 extension, are expected to open successfully, bringing benefits such as population inflow and additional urban infrastructure expansion.

Regarding eligibility for national rental housing applications, applicants must be subscribers to the Housing Subscription Savings and be members of a household without home ownership as of the announcement date, meeting certain income and asset criteria. The income criterion allows applications for those with a pre-tax monthly average income of 70% or less of the urban worker household average (2,890,902 KRW or less for single-person households), with priority given to applicants with 50% or less (2,248,479 KRW or less for single-person households).
Single-person household heads can only apply for housing with an exclusive area of 40㎡ or less. The asset criteria require that the total asset value held by all household members be 325 million KRW or less, and the value of automobiles be 35.57 million KRW or less.
The main application period for Dasan Forest Complex 2 national rental housing is from November 21 to 28, lasting 8 days. Priority supply applications are accepted from the 21st to the 23rd, general supply from the 24th to the 25th, and on the 28th.
Permanent rental housing will have a recruitment announcement scheduled for November. Eligible applicants include basic livelihood security recipients, national veterans, and single-parent families who are heads of households without home ownership, with residents selected by Namyangju City.
