[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] On the 9th, Samsung Electronics unveiled the 'Galaxy Z Flip4' Special Edition in collaboration with the Paris haute couture house brand 'Maison Margiela'.
Samsung Electronics reinterpreted Maison Margiela's unique design values based on the core value of openness of Galaxy smartphones and reflected them in the Galaxy Z Flip4.
The 'Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition' adopts Maison Margiela's signature color, 'Solid White'.
Inspired by Maison Margiela's 'Decortique' technique, which exposes the internal design to the outside, the actual internal circuit shape of the product was applied to the rear design.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition features two special UX themes.
The first theme, 'Paint Brush', is characterized by expressing the texture of paint with rough brush strokes in the UX design.
The second theme, 'Inverted', applies a unique design that looks like viewing the actual interior of the Galaxy Z Flip4 through an X-ray scan, and users can choose between black and white color themes.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition includes two types of cases.
The first leather case applies the 'Bianchetto' technique, which looks like gray paint was applied on a white canvas, and adds four stitches reflecting Maison Margiela's unique emblem.
The second silicone numbering case engraves the number 11, symbolizing Maison Margiela's accessories, on the ring holder and also includes four stitches.

The 'Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition' will be available for sale in major global countries including Korea and France starting from the 1st of next month. In Korea, it will be sold through the Samsung Electronics website and the limited edition trading platform KREAM.
