Tada Signs Mutual Development Agreement with Seoul Private Taxi Association

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Tada announced on the 8th that it signed an agreement for mutual development with the Seoul Private Taxi Transportation Business Association on the 3rd.

Tada and the Seoul Private Taxi Association promised to work together to achieve sustainable development by enhancing user convenience through platform taxis and protecting the rights and interests of private taxi operators.

At the signing ceremony, Cha Soon-seon, Chairman of the Seoul Private Taxi Association, and Lee Jeong-haeng, CEO of Tada, attended. Through this agreement, Tada plans to actively address issues in the taxi market and strive for the long-term development of the entire taxi industry.

Cha Soon-seon, Chairman of the Seoul Private Taxi Association, said, “This agreement is significant in laying the foundation for the activation of taxi platforms like Tada to lead to the improvement of private taxi operators’ rights and interests,” and added, “We hope various win-win plans will be prepared with the determination to develop the taxi industry mutually.”

Lee Jeong-haeng, CEO of Tada, stated, “In 2021, when the taxi industry was severely depressed due to COVID-19, Tada boldly reduced platform fees to lessen the burden on private taxi operators,” and added, “We plan to explore various support measures going forward and will actively communicate to resolve inconveniences and concerns one by one, striving to become the best growth partner based on trust.”
