T Membership-Based Partnership Services of 5 Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] SK Telecom announced on the 8th that it will launch the T Membership-based ESG partnership service "Time to Protect the Earth" with companies practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
"Time to Protect the Earth" is a service that provides additional discounts or reward benefits through T Membership when consumers purchase eco-friendly items to promote the spread of ESG.
SKT partners with five companies: T map Mobility and Everon in the electric vehicle charging sector, Green Car in the electric vehicle rental sector, Kolon Industries FnC Division in the upcycling fashion sector, and Innisfree in the eco-friendly cosmetics sector.
The "Time to Protect the Earth" service can be found in the "Recommended List for You Every Day" section on the first screen of the T Membership app. Coupons can be downloaded from the detailed page linked by selecting each brand's card in the "Time to Protect the Earth" category. Instructions for using the coupons are available in the T Membership application (app).
Through this T Membership-based ESG collaboration, SKT plans not only to promote the consumption of eco-friendly items but also to take the lead in spreading ESG in Korea by forming ESG alliances with various partners in the future.
The company also operates the "Open Bakery," which offers discounts and joint marketing for neighborhood bakeries nationwide through T Membership, and the "Good Consumption" program to support social enterprises and startups. Each time customers use the service, a portion of the discount amount is borne to support small business owners, and Happiness Credits are accumulated for donations.
Yoon Jae-woong, head of subscription marketing at SKT, stated, "We will continue to carry out various ESG activities based on SK Telecom's services."
