[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] On the 7th, the Yeongyang-gun Public Health Center in Gyeongbuk conducted emergency first aid training, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), for over 60 people, including managers responsible for automated external defibrillator (AED) installation institutions, childcare teachers, and public officials at the multipurpose auditorium of the Yeongyang-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center.
This training was organized to improve the ability to effectively respond in the early stages when an emergency patient occurs in daily life.
The emergency first aid training was conducted by inviting a professional emergency rescue instructor from the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group of Gimcheon University. The training focused on practical, hands-on experience, starting with guidelines on how to act in emergency situations, followed by CPR and AED usage.

Jang Yeo-jin, director of the Public Health Center, said, “Through this training, I hope it helped improve the ability to respond promptly in emergency situations by performing CPR and first aid when cardiac arrest patients occur.” She added, “We will continue to promote emergency first aid training, including CPR, so that residents can actively respond to emergency situations in the future.”
