[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] D'Live announced on the 7th that it has added Coupang Play to its online video service (OTT) box 'OTT’v', following Netflix, Watcha, and Wavve.
Recently, Coupang Play has been offering a diverse lineup including not only sports broadcasts but also original content, domestic and international TV series, movies, kids, and educational programs.
At its launch, D'Live OTT’v became the first domestic company to sign a licensing agreement with Netflix, and since then, it has steadily grown as a specialized service by providing various genres of content that the whole family can enjoy for free.
Currently, D'Live OTT’v has recorded cumulative sales of approximately 570,000 units and offers about 60,000 pieces of content through a total of over 260 apps.
D'Live OTT’v plans to provide specialized services through original content production. It is currently producing the original content 'DMZ Daeseongdong (4-part series)' through the Korea Communications Agency (KCA)'s 'OTT Specialized Content Production Support Project' and plans to release it next month.
