[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeonbuk Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation is promoting the travel expense support project "Gochanghanbam" to revitalize local tourism and discover sustainable tourism content.
According to the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation on the 7th, "Gochanghanbam" is a project that encourages various generations to visit the region by sharing tourism trends and issues, and discovers stay-type tourism courses and new tourist attractions through travel information collection.
Participants freely travel throughout Gochang-gun in November and December, complete the "Gochanghanbam" travel missions, and then upload reviews on SNS and submit travel reports.
A total of 100 teams will be selected based on criteria such as promotional effect and uniqueness of travel courses, and travel expenses of up to 120,000 KRW per team will be supported depending on the number of members.
The support target is limited to those aged 20 to 40 (born between 1974 and 2003) residing outside Gochang-gun, and applications can be made through the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation website and official Instagram for seven days from today until the 13th.
Shim Deokseop, chairman of the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation, said, "As interest in small-town travel and local tourism increases and the trend of rediscovering regions spreads, active participation from domestic tourists is expected," adding, "We hope participants will feel the various charms of Gochang through their travel experience in the clean area of Gochang."
