[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) is actively promoting products by Hwasun's small but strong farmers at the '2022 Small but Strong Farmers Expo' held for four days from the 2nd at COEX in Seoul.
According to the county on the 3rd, small but strong farmers are small but strong farms that generate high profits based on ideas and technical skills. Representing Hwasun-gun's small but strong farmers, Sharon Farm (CEO Kim Yoon, honey and pollen) and Sup Sarang Farm (CEO Kim Ju-ho, shiitake mushrooms and dried persimmons) participated.
These farms actively participated in the small but strong farmers training promoted by the Hwasun-gun Agricultural Technology Center, practiced management improvement, and showcased excellent agricultural products and processed goods they directly produced to urban consumers.
They are expected to have a meaningful time participating in the evaluation of the small but strong farmers development performance, product promotion, buyer consultations, and product promotion profile shooting.
At this expo, linked with the 17th Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition (Food Week), 350 outstanding small but strong farms from the region participate under the theme "Tomorrow's Agriculture Opened by Small but Strong Farmers and Consumers Together" to promote the excellence of their products.
Both offline and online exhibitions are held simultaneously, where visitors can experience nationwide agricultural products, specialties, and processed foods along with events.
A representative of the Hwasun-gun Agricultural Technology Center said, "We will continue to support various projects and education so that Hwasun's small but strong farmers contribute to pioneering the future of regional agriculture."
