Time for Recharge, Rest, and Healing for Local Children's Center Workers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 1st, Geochang County in Gyeongnam conducted a forest healing program titled "Recharge! Rest! And Healing!" for about 30 workers from local community child centers at the Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land.
This program was organized to encourage and boost the morale of workers at 16 local community child centers who are doing their best to provide safe care for children in the community who need after-school care despite difficult working conditions.
Participants experienced various forest healing programs such as negative ion meditation, phytotherapy, five-sense stimulation, and foot baths, taking time to relieve accumulated work stress and recharge their vitality.
Im Soon-ran, president of the Local Community Child Center Association, said, "It was a meaningful time for community child center workers to have rest, conversation, and healing, communicating and harmonizing with each other."
Currently, Geochang County provides comprehensive welfare services including protection and education, play and recreation, and community linkage for the healthy development of about 400 children at 16 local community child centers.
