Celltrion Participates in CPHI Worldwide 2022... 'First Solo Booth Installed'

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Celltrion announced on the 1st that it will participate in the ‘2022 World Pharmaceutical & Bio Exhibition (2022 CPHI)’ held over three days from the 1st to the 3rd (local time) in Frankfurt, Germany.

CPHI is the world's largest pharmaceutical and bio exhibition. It is held annually in major European cities on a rotating basis. The event gathers companies and representatives from various sectors of pharmaceuticals and bio, including raw materials such as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Contract Research Organizations (CRO), Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO), logistics and other outsourcing services, equipment, and packaging, providing opportunities for collaboration.

This year, Celltrion plans to install a standalone booth for the first time in the Bio Production Zone within the exhibition hall, focusing on brand promotion and strengthening partnerships. In particular, they will host pre-scheduled meetings and attend to potential partners visiting the booth in a dedicated meeting room and separate meeting spaces set up within the booth.

Especially, considering antibody biosimilar products, subsequent pipelines, and the operation of the third plant with a capacity of 60,000 liters scheduled for completion next year, Celltrion aims to identify optimal partners and further solidify global supply chain and collaboration systems. At the ‘BIO USA’ held in San Diego, USA, last June, they also focused on strengthening partnerships in these areas.

Celltrion will dispatch experienced professionals from departments including global supply chain management such as purchasing planning and production purchasing, research and development, manufacturing, and alliances to discuss collaboration with global partners in various fields ranging from product and formulation development to raw material procurement and CMO partnering.

On the first day of the exhibition, the 1st, Celltrion will hold a ‘Happy Hour’ event at its standalone booth, inviting collaboration partners and pharmaceutical and bio industry stakeholders to share light food and drinks while conducting meetings.
