[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Administrative Welfare Center of Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, and the Jeonggwan-eup Residents' Autonomy Committee practiced love & sharing by donating a portion of the sales proceeds from sellers participating in the 'Jeonggwan Sharing Flea Market 2023' to the Busan Community Chest of Korea.

The flea market, a resource recycling sharing market held over two days on the 22nd and 23rd at Plaza No. 8 next to Jeonggwan-eup Central Park, operated various programs under the theme of 'Sharing, Participation, and Communication,' including ▲Kids Flea Market ▲General Recycling Flea Market ▲Handmade Flea Market ▲Children's Experience Environmental Booth Zone ▲Street Performances ▲Direct Trade Market for Agricultural and Specialty Products from Seolcheon-myeon, Muju-gun.

In particular, to ensure a waste-free festival, Jeonggwan-eup, the Ecological Stream Learning Culture Festival Promotion Committee, and the Gijang-gun Saemaeul Association jointly operated a recycling collection station, receiving great response from residents.

Moreover, by receiving donations of a portion of the sales proceeds from a total of about 230 seller teams participating in the flea market this time and donating them to the Busan Community Chest of Korea, the meaning of love and sharing was further deepened.

Kim Jongcheon, the head of the eup, said, “Thanks to the loving donations from sellers participating in this flea market event, it became an opportunity for warm and compassionate hands to widely spread in living together.” He added, “We will continue to prepare so that the flea market can be reborn as a Sharing Double Flea Market by donating part of the proceeds from participation and become a substantial event.”
