Huons Group Signs Regional Development Agreement with Jecheon City and Semyung University

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Huons Global announced on the 31st that it has signed an 'Industry-Academia-Government Cooperation Agreement for Regional Development' with Jecheon City and Semyung University. The signing ceremony was attended by Yoon Sung-tae, Chairman of Huons Group, Park Ki-soon, Vice Mayor of Jecheon City, and Kwon Dong-hyun, President of Semyung University.

Through this agreement, Huons Group and Semyung University agreed to support student employment and field training, as well as mutual cooperation in joint research that can contribute to the industrial development of the region. Jecheon City promised active support for cooperation activities among companies, universities, and local governments to revitalize the regional economy through proactive administrative support.

In addition, they plan to proceed with ▲ mutual cooperation in R&D and non-R&D support to strengthen global competitiveness ▲ exchange of human resources and information and joint use of research equipment ▲ mutual cooperation in the field of industry-academia collaboration.

President Kwon said, "Through this agreement, we will establish a virtuous cycle structure to jointly solve the difficulties of regions facing extinction and provide opportunities for students to gain employment and field training."

Chairman Yoon stated, “Based on this agreement, we will lead mutual cooperation with Jecheon City and Semyung University to contribute to the development of the local community.”
