[Asia Economy Reporter Myung-hwan Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 28th that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter of this year was preliminarily estimated at 746.6 billion KRW, a 25.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, sales grew by 14.1% to 21.1768 trillion KRW, while net profit decreased by 34.8% to 336.5 billion KRW.
