Hwasun-gun to Hold 'Community Harmony Festival' on the 29th

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyukjun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bokgyu) announced on the 28th that it will hold a local residents' harmony festival at Gwangdeok Culture Square in Hwasun-eup from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 29th.

The local residents' harmony festival is a program hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Hwasun-gun, and organized by the Hwasun-gun Rural Revitalization Support Center.

The county plans to provide an opportunity for all local residents to enjoy and unite through various educational and experiential programs as well as cultural performances.

The programs will be operated in various fields such as rural village communities, multiculturalism, traditional instruments, sign language, mental health welfare, prehistoric times (dolmens), science, and environment.

Cultural performances will also be held, including an elementary school band (Taeeona Team), youth and adult band (Duru Art Team), and health dance (Hwasarang Team).

A county official said, "This event will be a place for local residents to come together," and added, "We will do our best to revitalize the resident-led local community."
