The Eoreumgol Apple Festival to be Held for Two Days on November 5-6 at Eoreumgol Public Parking Lot
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Miryang City in Gyeongnam Province will hold the 24th Miryang Eoreumgol Apple Festival, which has not been held for the past three years due to COVID-19, from November 5 to 6. The festival will take place in Eoreumgol, Sannae-myeon, Miryang City, a location attracting many tourists with the peak autumn foliage and beautiful scenery of the Yeongnam Alps.
Miryang Eoreumgol apples are a representative premium apple of Korea, boasting the best taste and quality. To promote the excellence of Eoreumgol apples through this festival, the Miryang Eoreumgol Apple Development Council is preparing to welcome visitors under the theme "‘Refreshing’ Taste Eoreumgol Apples! ‘Step into’ the Autumn of Eoreumgol!"
This event offers visitors the chance to unite and participate in three types of apple relay games, telepathy games, apple stacking contests, a VR experience zone, bead bracelet making, as well as enjoy children's puppet shows, extreme balloon shows, comedy juggling shows, large bubble performances, and K-POP cover performances with their families.
Additionally, an exhibition hall featuring premium apples and apple dishes will be set up, along with a sales area where visitors can purchase delicious Eoreumgol apples and excellent Miryang agricultural specialties. A free tasting corner offering apples, apple ade, and apple punch will also be operated for visitors to the event.
Miryang Eoreumgol apples come from the area where Natural Monument No. 224, Eoreumgol, is located. Despite the midsummer heat, ice forms here, and the distinct temperature difference between day and night creates a climate that results in high sugar content and firm flesh. These apples are known to have excellent effects on skin beauty, obesity prevention, hangover relief, and intestinal health.
