Youth Affiliated with Gokseong Out-of-School Youth Support Center
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-seon] Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun announced that Kim *rang, a youth from the Gokseong-gun Out-of-School Youth Support Center, won the grand prize at the "2022 Tomorrow's Dream School Skills Competition" held on the 21st.
Tomorrow's Dream School is a project that provides customized vocational training for out-of-school youth to support their successful social entry and independence.
The grand prize winner is currently training at the Korea Competency Development Institute Honam Vocational School located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, acquiring the Korean Cuisine Cooking Technician certification and undergoing the Master Chef training course.
In this competition, participating as a team of two under the theme
Youth Kim *rang became an out-of-school youth to pursue interest in baking and pastry, aiming to obtain certifications and complete training courses.
While diligently preparing to acquire various cooking technician certifications beyond baking and pastry, they achieved the great success of winning the grand prize at the skills competition.
In their acceptance speech, they said, "I believe this award belongs not only to me and my fellow trainees but also to the many teachers who worked hard for the competition."
