On the 25th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at the agricultural and marine products wholesale market in Maechon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu.
On that day, the fire started around 8:17 PM, and the fire authorities, upon receiving a report that "there is a fire in the market," issued a Level 1 response around 8:35 PM and a Level 2 response around 8:43 PM, and are currently conducting firefighting operations.
Level 2 response is a mobilization order that calls for manpower and equipment from 5 to 6 nearby fire stations.
The fire authorities estimate that the fire started near the warehouse area of the agricultural and marine products wholesale market. So far, no casualties have been reported.
