PHC Opens Healthcare Retail Flagship MoHe's Dongtan Lacmong Store

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] PHC (CEO Choi Inhwan) announced on the 24th that it will open the second healthcare retail flagship MoHe’s store at Dongtan Lacmong.

Bio-healthcare specialized company PHC is opening MoHe’s, a healthcare retail flagship that links Korea’s first experiential healthcare service with a retail business model, at ‘Lacmong’ in Dongtan, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, and will conduct experiential programs and on-site promotions. After a soft opening period until the 28th, the official opening is scheduled for the 29th.

The newly opened MoHe’s Lacmong store is the second store following MoHe’s NC Gangseo store.

Unlike existing stores, the Lacmong store upgraded the customer experience space by adding various services and products to the existing health functional food specialty store to provide customized healthcare services, which are a recent consumer trend, transforming it into Korea’s first experiential healthcare retail specialty store.

Composed of an experience zone, retail zone, and event zone, MoHe’s Lacmong store is more than twice as large as the existing store and has increased the number of health measurement devices to broaden customers’ choices.

The offline store has been upgraded and enlarged to provide a wider and more comfortable space where customers can measure their health for free. Based on these measurement results, a recommendation algorithm displays the most suitable products to customers in real time.

In particular, visitors can directly experience various devices that measure skin, scalp, eye health, brain waves, as well as check stress and musculoskeletal health. Additionally, massage devices and InBody machines are available for anyone to use free of charge.

Moreover, based on individual health measurement results, customers can immediately purchase product groups suitable for their health condition in the retail zone. Various healthcare products including cosmetics, health functional foods, medical devices, and massage devices will be sold at the lowest price level, and the experiential results can be checked in real time through the dedicated app MoHe.

A PHC official said, “We are now able to provide opportunities for various experiences in a wider and more comfortable store,” adding, “We plan to continuously open additional new stores and offer healthy habits to our customers.”
