[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Smilegate announced on the 20th that it has launched and is operating a metaverse recruitment center to enhance its hiring competitiveness and strengthen communication during the recruitment process.

Smilegate opened the "Smilegate Metaverse Recruitment Center" through the web-based metaverse platform "ZEP." The Smilegate Metaverse Recruitment Center includes ▲Corporate Introduction Zone ▲Promotional Video Zone ▲IP Exhibition Zone ▲Meeting Rooms and Auditorium. Job seekers can conveniently check various recruitment-related information and events in a one-stop manner.

With no spatial limitations, the recruitment events can accommodate a large number of participants, and the advantage of easy two-way communication allows real-time interaction with multiple job seekers.

Since the opening of the metaverse recruitment center, Smilegate held two metaverse briefings for the preliminary developer growth support program "2022 Winter Dev Camp" on September 30 and October 7. Many attendees participated, taking the opportunity to resolve their questions about Smilegate and the development camp.

Smilegate plans to utilize the metaverse recruitment center in various ways throughout the recruitment process. It will provide customized spaces for each talent discovery program, including experienced professional recruitment, internships, and development camps, aiming to increase participant engagement.

Meanwhile, Smilegate has also unveiled "Lobby The Town," a metaverse representation of the first floor "Everyone's Lobby" of its headquarters, Smilegate Campus building, and continues activities to promote the meaning and value of the space. They are also preparing new experience-centered metaverse-related services that allow free creation, social networking activities, and game play.
